Dear Miss Li,
        I’m writing this letter to express my sincere gratitude for your selfless help in my preparation for entering this university, which will also exert great influence on my later days.
        In these past years, you’ve done a lot for me. To start with, it was you who spent extra time helping me catch up with other classmates in study. When I wanted to give up, you always encouraged me to be confident and patient. Moreover, it was you who told me some life principles like how to tell right from wrong, which guided me to build up correct values. Last but not least, it was you who encouraged me to face challenges and difficulties bravely when I felt frustrated and helpless. With your tireless help and continuous encouragement, I’ve been maintaining a good mentality and attitude no matter how hard the condition is.
        In a word, my dear teacher, I really appreciate everything you’ve done for me. Thanks for your company, your unwearied enlightenment and your constant support on my growing road.
