题目
For as long as I can remember,on the third Saturday of every month,my mother,my brother, and I would volunteer at our local food bank to hand out food.I learned quickly that TV shows don't show what poverty(贫穷) and hunger are really like in real life.I had been made to believe that hunger only happens in the poorest comers of the world, far from where I live.Unluckily, that is simply not the case.As Feeding America reports, over 47 million people in the US face hunger, including one in every five children. In 2024,I had the chance to visit the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley,a member of the Feeding America network,in McAllen,Texas.I worked with some amazing volunteers to give out holiday meals to families in need. This experience impressed me as the most special chance of my life. While other food distribution(分发) experiences are meaningful, they are much more formalized(正规的) with organized lines. However, this experience allowed me to get close to those in need. With each food box we delivered and each"thank you"we heard,I felt connected to the McAllen community in a way that I had never thought possible. Meeting families who were living in small,self-made homes, each with up to ten children and adults, showed me the meaning of resilience(坚韧).Though they were in challenging situations, the children remained joyful and hopeful.I still can't get it out of my head. There are so many people that spend a lot of time helping others as volunteers. The truth is,there is still so much to be done to end hunger.I hope we all do our best to support organizations like Feeding America that are trying to make a difference in communities all across the country.(1)What did the author realize after she began to volunteer? ____ A.Hunger is a serious problem in the US.B.Hunger happens in the poorest countries.C.Many children in the US are in bad health.D.There are not enough volunteers in the US.(2)What made the author's 2024 volunteering experience different? ____ A.She learnt a lot from other communities.B.She saw organized lines of volunteers.C.She delivered meals during holidays.D.She got close to people in need.(3)What impressed the author most about the children? ____ A.They had a large family.B.They lived in small houses.C.They were positive about life.D.They faced many challenges.(4)What does the last paragraph mainly tell us? ____ A.The responsibilities of Feeding America.B.The ways to make a difference in communities.C.The need for more volunteers to help fight hunger.D.The success of Feeding America in ending hunger.(5)From which section of a newspaper can we read this article? ____ A.SocietyB.HistoryC.EconomyD.Science

根据第一段 "As Feeding America reports, over 47 million people in the US face hunger, including one in every five children."
根据第三段 "However, this experience allowed me to get close to those in need."
根据第四段 "Though they were in challenging situations, the children remained joyful and hopeful."
根据最后一段 "The truth is,there is still so much to be done to end hunger.I hope we all do our best to support organizations..."(事实是,要彻底消除饥饿问题,还有很多工作要做。
